Anneke Van Giersbergen, ex- Gathering singer and mastermind of Agua de Annique gives exclusive interview to Metalzone.gr.
Anneke talks about her departure from the Gathering, how her new project is more adapted to her need to keep up with her family and the separate projects she has going on by having full control over her schedule.
She answers to the criticism she’s received for having her project ready after soon after she left the Gathering. She gives the full background of her new solo album and the welcome it’s received. She talks about the way she writes her lyrics and music; the way she chose her artwork and why she’s so into stewardesses and their job!
She talks about the covers in her album and her co operation with Kristin Fjellseth of Pale Forest who is a close friend of hers. But also how the line up of the band was chosen.

Anneke reveals she is now setting up her workshop which is both online and in her home land for vocalists who want to be taught by her and how she enjoys being a teacher.
She also reveals how she would gladly do a reunion with The Gathering not only for a reunion tour but also for an album.
