Helena Mihailidou and Dimitris Hatzimoisis of Metalzone.gr recently had the chance to interview Joseph Duplatier, of GOJIRA in Athens Rocking Festival. Joe talks to Metalzone about how their upcoming tour with Metallica is a “dream come true”, how the new album is going to be darker and slower, and how they would like to do something in the future to help ecological foundations in their causes.
However they decline being ecological metal and they define the elements that make them differ from other bands. Joe also talks about how coming from France was a problem in the beginning of their career but how it now is a beneficial characteristic of the band.
