PERSIAN RISK

1.Could you give us a brief account on the history of Persian Risk?

\r\n\r\n

Persian Risk was born in 1979 with Phil Campbell and friends from Leading Star, after a brief vocal from John Deveril (Tygers of Pang Tang) PR recruited Carl Sentance and played many shows around London including The famous Marquee! They also played live on TV. Prime time on the show E.C.T. And of corse did the British Motörhead tour in 1984, PR went from strength to strength recorded hit singles in the British rock charts and made there first album in 1985. Sadly due to management and Carl joining the Geezer Butler band PR decided to call it a day until Carl relaunched the band in 2011! In 2012 Carl made the next PR album Once a King and took the band a step farther by playing some festivals in Germany and UK, bringing us to today with there next album Who am I which will be out on 6th November.

\r\n\r\n

I had done a lot of things in these years but always wondered what it would be like to reform PR but I couldn’t get the original lineup back together and decided to go it alone and was lucky enough to find some great musicians.

Yes a new album will be out in time for Rock you to Hell!

Judas Priest, Iron Maiden were some of the influences and still are today.
