BLACKENED WIND @ Lost Dogs Thessaloniki

\r\nFor once more I am inside the Neoclassical building next to Navarino Square, Vyronos 3 street. Once more I would audience Blackened Wind and Brain Traffic. I audienced Brain Traffic for the first time since I have never heard about them before. Plus that Sunday night we had a guest: Jimmy Santrazami, vocalist of Emerald Sun. \r\n

\r\n

\r\nThe show started  around 23:30 with Brain Traffic getting on stage. The band, after several line up changes, appeared on stage for the very first time after the new line up was set up. Those changes had as a result the band not to not have their own songs. So they decided to cover a dozen of beloved songs. But It didn’t matter at all because we really had a pleasant time listening to beloved songs by a band gave its all in order to entertain us. Also the audience was really happy and relax having a real great time.

\r\n

\r\nThey sang a lot of songs from diferrent genres: Deep Purple, Metallica, David Bowie and Rage Against The Machine. Ι would like to make a special mention to guitarist Kostas for his very good solo skills, and to drummer Mano for his aggression.

\r\nAfter some time since Brain Traffic was over Blackened Wind got on stage. They were better than the previous time, which was about a month ago, and they proved once more that they are a talented band. I would like to focus on two things: The first thing is that they played new songs, including an instrumental one, and the other thing is that, as I mentioned before, Jimmy Santrazami was present as a guest, and sang Helloween and Scorpions songs. Such kind of partnerships proved that the band has realized that the metal music scene is part of show bussiness in conjunction with public relations. In addition it was first time I listened to Santrazami’s vocals live and I must state that he has an excellent voice. It is really pleasant that there are such really good metal voices in the Greek area of the metal scene. Regarding their performace, they were focused on their target, that was to satisfy us...and they did it.
