Crystal Tears @ Argy's Rock Bar

\r\nCRYSTAL TEARS would love to thank ARGY’S ROCK and MESS rock bars and all the friends that showed up and celebrated "Generation X" release with the band on Friday the 17th (Thessaloniki) and Saturday the 18th (Kozani). We feel sooo very honoured! Credits go to our friend Vasilis L., who was dj-ing both nights (dj Gith) and to all the sponsors that so warmly embraced the event. And since we’re constantly asked about numbers, thumbs up to the approximately 350 friends in Thessaloniki and 150 in Kozani (bar-recycled of course), huge success! Thank you very much for all the warm support! Kindly support new efforts!

\r\nARGY’S ROCK bar, Thessaloniki, Friday the 17th September 2010: well, to my delight finally Friday evening came and it was the BIG event for CRYSTAL TEARS and the CD release party and being the singer in the band naturally I was there and what a night! More than 300 friends came out in force to support CT and the release of the new "Generation X" CD. The atmosphere plus cool support and excitement from everyone came as a complete surprise. It was not just a band and some friends, but one huge happy family. Chrisafis (drummer and founder member) together with the owners of Argy’s Rock bar downtown Thessaloniki organised a lottery evening for the release party and everyone had the chance to win a free CD or T-Shirt or 7" vinyl, which went down a treat (Chrisafis: there were 30 giveaways in total!). What band and what a bunch of cool people from Thessaloniki who were strong in number! My heart felt thanks go to all who have supported the band for many years and my glass was lifted high with gratitude (a few too many times as you can image ha! ha!). A memory I am going to cherish for years to come. Thanks to Argy’s bar; thanks to the fans and friends of CRYSTAL TEARS and thanks also to my colleagues and friends from CRYSTAL TEARS for an amazing night! Cheers! Jamas!

\r\nMESS rock bar, Kozani, Saturday the 18th September 2010: the weather was perfect, the atmosphere could not be better and after a 2-hour drive from Thessaloniki CRYSTAL TEARS arrived at rock bar Mess in the wonderful greek town of Kozani to be greeted by a cool reception from friends who had been waiting to meet the band at the CRYSTAL TEARS CD presentation for "Generation X". And just like the friends at Argy’s bar the night before, the friends in Kozani did not let us down. A line of young metal dudes stood smiling as the band arrived. With our own cool video presented by dj Bill (the CD spinning wizard) ended in full applause followed by screams as the presention of the first killer tracks from "Generation X" finished, we kicked off the evening with some classic metal tracks to get the juices flowing (including the tasty greek beer ha! ha!), then we rolled into an evening of introductions, CD, T-Shirt & 7" vinyl giveaways (Chrisafis: that guy won 5 giveaways in a row... amazing! I hope he gambled next day! Is this luck or what? Ha, ha! Well done bro!) and great feedback from our amazing greek friends to an amazing greek metal band, which I am proud to be part of. Woh what blast! From CRYSTAL TEARS and myself Thessaloniki, Kozani and Greece "We Salute You"!
