Frontiers Music Srl announces the release of the new studio album, Katharsis, from long-running UK hard rockers, Praying Mantis. The album will be released on January 28.
This will be their 12th studio album and sees the band steadily progressing from the sonic signatures of their last release, Gravity.

Canadian heavy metal powerhouse, Striker, is back from the grave. Last month, with rumours spreading of the band calling it quits after they posted an image that was titled "RIP Striker 2007-2021" on their social media, fans began speculating on their future. In the end, it was all made to prepare them for Striker's new single "Deathwish"
Canada's thrash metal machine Wreck-Defy, featuring guitarist Matt Hanchuck alongside former Archetype singer Greg "Wags" Wagner, former Testament bass player Greg Christian and drummer Dave O'Neal, have released a lyric video for their new single, "Fashionably Offended".
"Fashionably Offended" is featured on the new album, The World Enslaved, available on December 1 at all digital retailers and providers.

Sweden's iconic rock/metal titans, Opeth, have announced that "due to conflict of interests", they have parted ways with drummer Martin "Axe" Axerot.
His replacement for Opeth's upcoming tour with Mastodon will be Therion's Sami Karppinen, who's first show with Opeth is tonight (November 16) in Asheville, NC.

Cruz Del Sur Music are proud to announce the signing of a multi-national heavy metal outfit Mirror. The label will release the band's third full-length, titled The Day Bastard Leaders Die, in spring 2022. "We are happy and excited about signing with Cruz Del Sur," says bassist Tasos "Tas" Danazoglou. "The label’s ownership loved the songs on The Day Bastard Leaders Die. We started recording the album last year but had a few delays because of COVID.
U.S. veterans Pentagram have shared sad news. They've confirmed that former bassist Greg Mayne lost his battle with lung cancer at the age of 68. Greg was part of the band in early seventies.
