The Hidden Hand - The Ressurection Of Whiskey Foote

The Hidden Hand - The Ressurection Of Whiskey Foote

\r\n2007 brings\r\nus amongst other releases, the new album by the Americans “The Hidden Hand” The\r\nband is the brainchild of the well known Doom / stoner metal guru Scott "Wino"\r\nWeinrich (ex-The Obsessed, ex- Saint Vitus, ex- Spirit Caravan, ex- Place Of\r\nSkulls).after he splited up Spirit Caravan in 2002. Having a back catalogue of\r\n3 Album, 2 E.P. and one split 12’’ from 2002 to 2007 The Hidden Hand returned\r\nwith the most recent and probably their last release “Resurrection Of Whiskey Foote”.\r\nTheir last, because Wino splited the band up, after the release of the album.\r\nUnfortunately, this album is not as good as the previous two were. Not bad\r\na album but the compositions are more uninspired this time and\r\nsound closer to stoner rock. Probably Wino remembered his old days in The\r\nObsessed. The Sure thing is that the production of the album is very good,\r\nsomething that can be realized from the first time you listen to “Resurrection\r\nOf Whiskey Foote” with some parts closer to “southern rock” and a very nice\r\nguitar work. For someone that wants to get into the band, I surely suggest their\r\nfirst album “Divine Propaganda”.\r\n
