W.A.S.P. - Dominator

\r\nThere are bands which are something more than a history in the domain of Hard Rock / Heavy Metal and noone can doubt about what they have offered. One of these bands are WASP, whom releases may not all be so worthmentioned, but they deserve the respect of all, only for the what they have done till today. To be more precise without waffling, the new album has the title "Dominator" and to my personal opinion, it could be in the list with the best albums which the band has released. It’s about an album which can be easily heard, where the style of WASP is everywhere, even if the songs are having something big to say (Mercy, Long Way to Go), or it’s about ballad-songs (Take me Up, Heaven’s Hung In Black). The beautiful and nice atmosphere is dominating, there are a lot of changes, the melodic elements from the most songs stay in the mind of the listener from the very first hearing, solos and the other rythmical elements are well-processed and what I liked most in this album is that Blackie’s vocals aren’t in reverb, as it usually happens, so his voice is much more pleasant.\r\n

\r\n"Dominator" is an album which contains elements from almost their whole discography and it’s also an album which can be heard under any circumstances, because of the different feeling of the songs, as one can be more melancholic or the opposite. "Dominator" can be a classic album, but in the year 2007 it’s a very big moment for the band. The production is something more than conscientious, something which raise more the quality of the work. It;s about an album extremely melodic, with the elements which make the band unique be omnipresent and with the classical Hard Rock character. The fans of the band should in any case byu this album (and not download it), while the rest should take a look and sure they won’t be disappointed. \r\n
