This Last year, with such a pleasure I see Shadow Kingdom Records re – releases some of my personal favorite albums, albums that are too difficult for someone to purchase these days due too the “out of Print” status of them, and if by any luck someone finds them, he has to pay some good amount of money to get them.
\r\n The Spanish Aggression is actually part of the new wave/ era of thrash metal. Moshpirit is their first release; a release through which the band attempts to gain the fans’ of this historical genre trust.
\r\nIs it my idea or there is a mass disorientation even in the music business? There’s no other explanation for this. I really don’t know if the economic crisis or the global unemployment have influenced the minds of the individuals in the dark times we live in, but I know this. The world has gone totally mad! Jaldaboath are not the exception to the rule (in fact they are a fine example). They released an album of crappy folk metal presenting themselves as “Monty Pythons of metal”!
\r\nSometimes sickness can bring forth art. Some other times suffocation can be praised as a feeling of awe. Everything negative can be channeled into creativity and flourish. This is exactly what the polish sickos Morowe did in their first ever release. It is truly worth wondering what dwells within their mind during composition time..

\r\nI am lucky enough to hold in my hands the re – release of this monumental album, an album that I consider as the cornerstone of the whole Italian Doom Metal scene. So here is your change to get hold of it on a beautiful digi pack packaging having also two demo bonus tracks from the band. Despite the fact that I own some of the black hole demos, I’ve never heard before these two tracks. Since this album is featured on our “Monumet” section, I ll just copy / paste my review for this album, the foundation of Italian Doom Metal and Italian Metal in general.\r\n

Raging Black Metal with fast Black Metal riffs, nice bass and excellent drumming, atmospheric keyboard themes and the voice of Psycho combining brutal and Black Metal vocals. The production is very good and the whole album has great atmosphere.\r\n
