\r\nInteresting ideas from the French band C-ROM; This is their second studio album, after the debut “Flames Of Knowledge”.
\r\nAll the characteristic elements of this music genre are included in the songs: powerful rhythm, dark atmosphere and intense electronic elements, catchy melodies. I would prefer, though, Christelle ‘s singing to be either a bit more “ethereal” or more tough on some spots, as the way she performs doesn’t show the colors nor the dynamics of her voice, plus, it makes the songs sound a bit boring.

\r\nWhile I wonder how do we label a band, which is “female fronted”, but its music orientation is not close to what this term refers to, I listen to this fresh new band called Mastercastle, which has already released an album back on 2008, entitled “The Phoenix”.
\r\nThe truth is that the Manowar-like intro/prologue confused me, thankfully, though, when this part was over, I realized that it’s not another clone of them.
\r\nIn the beginning, Gallows End was a one-man project formed by their singer, Thord Klarström, but the very positive feedback on their demo (2007), led him to the decision of taking the whole thing more seriously.
\r\nU.S. DOOM/SLUDGE\r\n
\r\n
\r\nU.S. Doomsters - Unearthly Trance - are ready to release their fifth album. This band has released many nice albums and a lot of Split albums, Demos and EPs. All with the same Doom/Sludge feeling and now they are about to release their new work.\r\n
\r\n
\r\nThe album has the title - V - and its another great album from this band. Great Doom/Sludge riffs, heavy bass, nice drumming and the voice of Ryan in a very good condition. The production is very good and so is the great artwork on the album cover.\r\n
\r\nSECOND ALBUM FOR BLACK ANVIL\r\n
\r\n
\r\n-Black Anvil- is a band from New York that plays a mix of Black and Thrash Metal since 2007. They have released one full length album and now they have returned with their second album.\r\n
\r\n
\r\nThe new album is called - Triumvirate- and it’s a great Black/Thrash Metal album that has everything. Nice riffs, great bass and drumming and some very good Black vocals. The production is very good and so is the cover of the album.\r\n
\r\nExpressing your opinion about a band with such a controversial background is a risk in a sense. Bullet for My Valentine is a band that no doubt has been promoted a lot. Definitely, there have been intense reactions about their music in the past, as for some people they are too trendy to even bother talking about them, far less listening to them.
Nation Despair might be a Finnish Death metal band, but the sound that emerges from their first EP called “Ruins” is not that similar to the so called Swedish death metal sound. It’s not that they haven’t got any melodic parts on their compositions, is the fact that they prefer to use them less and sound more groovy having as a result to sound more like the American Death metal bands like Six Feet Under and Obituary and less like their countrymen Amorphis.
