Lita talks about the new album she and her husband wrote and are about to release and also the way things are after a 15 year career in the music scene. \r\nMetalzone: Finally, the all time favorite of every metal head in Greece. What took you so long to visit your fans in Greece?
\r\nLita Ford: I’ve been away for 15 years! So it wasn’t only Greece that I’ve been away from!        Marriage, kids, deserted Caribbean island – that sums it up!
\r\n

\r\nMetalzone: How does it feel touring after so many years of success in the music scene?
\r\nLita Ford: It’s fantastic! Music is in my blood and I can’t wait to play for all our fans in Greece!
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: There are plans for an upcoming release. Can you give us a few hints about that?
\r\nLita Ford: This is the heaviest album I’ve ever done!
\r\n
\r\n

\r\nMetalzone: What will the style be like? Themes lyric wise? Production, co operations, etc
\r\nLita Ford: My husband and I wrote the lyrics and they’re very personal. A lot of the songs were inspired by our love life. We are very wild and continue to get wilder! Who says life has to get boring as we get older.  Jim and I wrote a song called SACRED that is very special to me – it’s a love song that’s for both of us.

\r\nMetalzone : Do you see a revival of the hard rock sleaze genre today? What bands do you think can revive the feeling?
\r\nLita Ford:  Who knows? Beans might cause a feeling!?!?!?! Jim gave me quite a feeling last night!

\r\nMetalzone: Are audiences today as enthusiastic as they were back in the 80s?
\r\nLita Ford:  Absolutely! The fans have been fantastic.
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: What music do you listen to nowdays?
\r\nLita Ford:  Anything on Nickelodean! Hahahah. We’re huge Nickelodean fans!

\r\nMetalzone: Tell me about your touring plans and the dates so far. What should the Greek fans expect from your appearance in Rockwave Festival? Are you going to have enough time on stage to sing all our favorites?
\r\nLita Ford: That’s a surprise! I’m teasing…. I hope that we get to play all the fans faves.
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: Is it hard being a woman in rock?
\r\nLita Ford: Not with a 280 pound monster of a husband! Ah hahahahahaha He says my tits get in the way sometimes….

\r\nMetalzone: Do you find there is a female artist today who can be your descendant?
\r\nLita Ford: I hope that I’ve helped pave the way for many of today’s girls that are rocking out there! Hope there are many more to come. God Bless and keep rockin’,
