Axxis - Utopia

\r\nAxxis are about to celebrate their 20th anniversary with the release of their new album “Utopia”. Their heavy rock roots are once more the basis of the compositions, yet they sound more refreshed compared to their last album and their musical orientation is basically Melodic Power Metal, in the vain of Helloween and Gamma Ray.
\r\nBernhard Weiß’s voice is more mature and powerful and it actually features the songs, which at some spots are referring to epic metal as well, a fact, which is probably a result of the dynamics and the feeling of the compositions. The fact is that they are all very good.
\r\nThe digipack (limited) edition will also contain two bonus tracks, one of which is the anniversary song with a running time of over 12 minutes. Guests and friends join the band with special performances; Andy Deris, ο Schmier, David Readman, Doro Pesch, as well as their friend and former band member, Walter Pietsch. “Utopia” will also be available – I guess on a limited number of copies- on black vinyl.\r\n
