Beyond The Dream - The Sin Against The Sinners

\r\nOnly the origin of the band is enough to have an idea about its music profile. Beyond The Dream come from Finland and this is their first full-length album, which is called “The Sin Against The Sinners”. It’s a Dark Metal album, actually based on the melodic side of the genre, while the main line that they follow musically includes both symphonic parts and black metal passages. Former members of  “The Myth Of Autumn” and “Code For Silence”, they serve their music roots the best way possible by combing elements from these groups and putting them into their music and own style (which by the way reminds a lot of Cradle of Filth). The whole package is very well taken care off and elegant, and so is the content. I like the fact that they don’t “overload” the compositions in order to impress, something that many other new bands do. Beyond The Dream don’t need such methods. They give so much feeling through their compositions –both music and lyrics wise- that is enough to keep you “chained” till the end of the listening and make you repeat the procedure over and over again. Harri Kauppinen’s voice and presence in general is so beautiful, almost creepy..  \r\n
