Birds Of Prey - The Hell Preacher

Birds Of Prey - The Hell Preacher

\r\n

\r\nI first heard of\r\nBirds Of Prey as an all star band ( come on…do a little search for\r\nyourselves) but to be honest, I was not so much impressed by their\r\nprevious album, not from this one either. I didn’t say it is a bad\r\nrecord, though. The exact opposite. The production and sound are very\r\ngood, just as any other Relapse release and tha songs are well\r\ncomposed and everything is played well and in place. My problem is\r\nthat I cannot listen to the whole record at once, something that I\r\nreally find important in music generally. As far as music is\r\nconcerned here, we have to do with a mixture of death\r\nmetal the\r\nSwedish way,\r\npure rock and a touch of sludge. Plus, there is an intense smell of\r\nEntombed in the album, both of the early days and the latest albums.\r\nGood vocals, interesting artwork and punk attitude that would trigger\r\nyour ears in a metal party, but nothing more. For fans of Motorhead,\r\nEntombed, Amon\r\nAmarth, Disfear\r\nand other metal vagabonds. I am not sure if other fans would like\r\nit….It starts great anyway!\r\n
