Bruno Rock - War Maniacs

\r\nDark Sky’s and Nightpride’s ex frontman, Bruno Kraler, along with very talented musicians, is back with the album “War Maniacs”. John Billings ( Lancia /Donna Summer Band) on bass, Bobby Altvater (Affair) on guitars and DominikHuelshorst (Bonfire) on drums, and if you though that Melodic Hard Rock is dead or something, well you will have to reconsider. This album is fresh, inspired and has very good ideas! 
\r\nThe guitars really stand out in the compositions, however all of the parts are very well structured. Also, on some spots the keys and the guitars become one and you can totally get lost in their melodies ( by the way, the Deep Purple-like melodies and sounds totally rock!). The vocals, even though they are not anything spectacular, fit perfectly as they are both Rock and melodic; exactly what this music genre needs in other words.
\r\nThere‘s also an interesting cover of the song “Touch too much” (AC/DC); it’s a nice song and it’s in the same mood with the rest of the cd. On the other hand, though, it’s almost the same as the original version and I totally disagree with that as I don t really see the reason of covering a song under such circumstances anyway. \r\n
