Charred Walls of the Damned - S/T

\r\nRichard Christy + Steve DiGiorgio = HELL! It really felt as if bombs were falling around me when I was listening to this album! Thunderous rhythm section, sharp guitar riffing, and penetrating vocals that will totally make your adrenaline flow!
\r\nRichard Christy, former ICED EARTH and DEATH drummer, along with the “bass monster”, Steve DiGiorgio (DEATH, CONTROL DENIED, ICED EARTH, SADUS, TESTAMENT etc), Jason Suecof, producer on albums coming from great bands such as TRIVIUM, CHIMAIRA, GOD FORBID, on the guitars and on the production and one of the best voices in the Metal scene, Tim "Ripper" Owens, joined forces in this “Project” album (as it is referred in the info sheet), which is going to be released soon via METAL BLADE.
\r\nIt’s pretty difficult to “label” the music orientation of this album. There are elements from various “genres”, ranging from death/thrash, to thrash/ power even modern death metal etc.  I would label it as “Metal” which is more general, after all this album is loud and heavy as hell and that’s the most essential part anyway! It’s fast, powerful, special, with nice ideas coming from great musicians who totally justify their “greatness“ in this album.
\r\nThe cover artwork is one of the few disadvantages of “Charred Walls of the Damned”. Thankfully there’s much more to love in this album, otherwise it would probably had been an unacceptable piece of work… \r\n
