DARK TRANQUILITY - We Are The Void

\r\nOne of the most influential bands in dark metal scene is back with its ninth full length album, disturbing once more the tranquility. The band is aiming high for years now. A mediocre album would be unacceptable the least, considering the feedback and its abilities, anyway. Melancholic, heavy, angry, rough and, in an odd way, pleasantly dark, sad and thorny, the album “We Are The Void” opens the next gate to the Pantheon of the most important names among the Swedish metal scene.
\r\n“We are The Void” is the natural progress for DARK TRANQUILLITY. It combines many elements from their previous albums, creating a divine amagalm of both dark and melodic death metal. Raw melodic death, with a gothic perspective, which is flirting with black metal- a common “behavior” for DT, anyways- while, “mainstream” melodic parts take us back to the era of the exceptional “Haven” and “Damage Done” albums.
\r\nThe ideal, considering the expectations from a new album (in reference to the music genre where it belongs, of course) is here. ”We Are The Void” has everything that it takes to fit the bill, and even more, in fact. \r\n
