Dark Tribe - Archaic Visions

German black metal band Dark Tribe are back after 6 years with their new album "Archaic Visions".
\r\nThe band exists since 2000 and they have 2 more albums in their discography.
\r\n
\r\nDark Tribe play raw, old school black metal so we don’t have a good production or nice,
\r\nclear sound on guitars.
\r\nHere we have an imbalanced, noisy production and believe me, some guitars with "keyboardlike" sound.
\r\nThey play simple music, simple riffs and unfortunately most of the time with no meaning.
\r\nAlthough I listened to it many times, I couldn’t get used to the vocals. They just distracted me from
\r\nthe whole sight of Dark Tribe’s music. They are terrible and sometimes funny.
\r\nDrumming is simple too. Bad, noisy sound with extra bass ruining the final result.
\r\nSomeone who likes this kind of black metal may find this album chaotic and atmospheric.
\r\nMusic that brings desperation and sorrow. But the songs themselves are of no meaning.
\r\n
\r\nGenerally I think that Dark Tribe’s music is for a specific audience.
\r\nPeople that are still loyal to the true old black metal idea may find a good album.
\r\nBut in my opinion, a few good parts and a little taste of atmosphere aren’t enough to improve
\r\na whole album’s quality.
\r\nDoomed to mediocrity.
