Deathspell Omega - Paracletus

Deathspell Omega - Paracletus

The boundaries of paranoia are finally broken.
\r\nSome history. They exist back in 1999 when they gave out their 1st demo. From then to 2004 that Si Monumentum came out they played traditional black metal. After that, they begun their way to special/unique paths. Now in 2010 they give us "Paracletus" completing in that way, the trilogy they begun with the Si, Monumentum.

\r\nParacletus is an album that is way ahead of it’s age. Something like when we were listening the "Written In Waters" album back in ’95-’96 and we’re feeling that something’s wrong. Exactly like that.
\r\nDeathspell Omega from France in 2010 wrote some music that no one can write in that way and expression. Melodies beyond imagination. Paranoid, sorrowful, aggressive music. Darkness, blackness. Basically i cannot really describe the delirium i felt. We have to deal with music that has a different meaning for each everyone of us.
\r\n
\r\nAbout lyrics now, D.O continues the same theme with the other parts of the trilogy (theological aspects of God, Satan and man’s relationship with the two) completing it in a way that i’ll not speak here. The production of the album this time is a mix of Chaining The Katechon and the chaos of "Fas - Ite, Maledicti, in Ignem Aeternum", but this time you can hear everything making the album more torturous. It’s ethereal for the ears to be able to listen clearly those unbearable riffs. Personally i believe that Paracletus maybe the album of the year.
\r\nBig music,Personal unique music, Big fantasy. Some albums like Paracletus made me dedicate myself to this.
