Earth - A Beaurocratic Desire for Extra Capsular Extraction

\r\nWhen I got\r\nthis disc for review I shouted out loud because I felt so honored. Drone/doom\r\npioneers Earth present a new compilation that works as a teaser for their\r\nupcoming album “Angels Of Darkness, Demos of Light I”. What we are dealing with\r\n,here, is material from Earth’s first recordings “Extra-Capsular Extraction”\r\nand “Sunn Amps and Smashed Guitars Live” remastered by Mell Dettmer. Listening\r\nto this great comp I realized how ahead of their time Earth were. What I also\r\nrealized was that there are too many bands nowadays that recycle what Earth did\r\nbefore. This compilation ,thus, is needed in order to make things clear to\r\nnewbies about the real pioneers. For those that don’t know there are some guest\r\nvocals by Kelly Canary on “ A Beaurocratic Desire for Revenge part 2” and by a\r\nguy named Kurt Cobain on “Divine and Bright”. I don’t really think there’s much\r\nmore to say. Heavy guitars, heavy bass and drone ( or should I say “drown”)\r\natmosphere. The best introduction to a band. Diggeth…..\r\n
