Eternal Hated - Secrets

\r\n Eternal Hated come from Volos, Greece and are the live proof that there is a bloodpumping scene emerging from the greek whereabouts and of modern perspective too! This is their second release, having already released the self financed EP "The Rise Of Hated" and this is their first official full length so I’ll refair to it as a debut.
\r\n 
\r\n The band moves on modern metal/core paths and manages to impress with how well they’ve filtered their influences. Let’s not forget we’re talking about young musicians that seem to feel and follow the signs of our times and deliver a wellshaped mixture of heavy breakdowns, melodic choruses and compositions full of energy. They mix Βleeding Through, Killswitch Engage and Αs I Lay Dying putting out a spontaneous passion worthy of envy. You can tell even by watching their promo video for "Shore Of Tragedy"(wonderfully directed!) and to put it generally, the band takes seriously what they do and that honours them.

\r\n The sound of "Secrets" is heavy and clear while equally impressive is the minimal artwork of the album, quite different than we are used to. It is not that the listener will find groundbreaking music here or a cornestone of the genre. It is well performed all the same, fresh and can balance power with melody..which is one of its drawbacks at the same time. Although it’s a matter or personal taste: the melodic vocals tend to lean on the emo side of things, bringing in mind Atreyu and the likes giving a vertical change from the extreme to the softer parts. But, like I said, it is just a matter of taste!

\r\n Whoever savours tunes of this style and is in search of new blood, Eternal Hated are a guaranteed proposition to invest on. And make sure you catch them on stage, you’ll unterstand what I was talking about..\r\n
