Fatal Smile - World Domination (special edition)

\r\nI have mentioned this a hundred times and I won’t stop mentioning it again and again: the combination of Hard Rock and Sweden has only one result. Satisfaction guaranteed! Sweden’s Fatal Smile is just another proof to the above statement. “World Domination” is their third full length release (they have already released “Beyond Reality”-2002 and “Neo Natural Freaks”-2006) and it’s a fine example of how Hard Rock/Heavy Metal should be played nowadays. Not too mellow with the mood of recalling the feeling of glorious west coast days, neither too alternative with a radio play purpose and a Pantera-like sound on the guitars (to show the world we’re mean..). The recipe of disaster is very simple. All you need is Brain-damaging riffs, raw power and street attitude and Fatal smile seem to be aware of it! Their compositions have nothing less that these of their famous countrymen “Crashdiet” and “Hardcore Superstar” though I have to say that they tend to be more heavy metal and less “Sleaze”. All the tracks on this one could easily become hit singles and this is because the guitarist and founding member of the band Y composed them with the help of his friend Paul Sabu, the famous songwriter who has composed songs for Alice Cooper, Madonna and David Bowie among others. the man responsible for the production is Jonas Östman (Yngwie Malmsteen) so It couldn’t be less than perfect. This special edition includes 2 bonus tracks “Six String Gun” and “ Pissed Of” as well as the videos of “S.O.B” and“Run For Your Life”. So what we’ve got here is Powerful guitars, awesome choruses and a voice straight out of some notorious Stockholm pub. If you’re looking for the appropriate soundtrack while cruising on the beach with a bottle of “Jack” in your hand, this is just the thing. What more do you want?
