Fir Bolg - Paganism

Fir Bolg is an one man band and "they" play traditional pagan black metal. "Paganism" is a
\r\nrelease printed in 500 limited edition copies. Dagoth, who is the man behind the music
\r\nwrote some tracks for a demo back in 2006, he then printed this in 500 copies in 2008 and
\r\nfinally German label Schwarzdorn Records signed him in 2009 and re-released this, to have a
\r\nbetter promotion of the band. That’s about their background.
\r\n
\r\nThis demo is a pretty nice work i can say. It’s a black metal and not so pagan though.
\r\nPagan parts are few but they are great. Great atmosphere and an excellent production for a
\r\ndemo. You’ll find aggressive music there and slower atmospheric ideas. I found them all
\r\nvery interesting and it kept me awake for the 23 mins. that this work lasts. This is an old
\r\nrelease and it is a pity that people doesn’t know about them. Maybe in the future they will
\r\nunleash another album and let’s hope it will work well cause they have some nice opinions
\r\nin this music they play. Maybe It doesn’t offer THE unique music but it is a wonderful and
\r\nfull of sense demo. Fir Bolg from France gave us a promising demo that must be checked from
\r\nall black/pagan fans.
