Inallsenses - Hysterical Psychosis

\r\nPsychotic death metal. This is how My Kingdom Music label describes Inallsenses’ music. This is surely not the case in Hysterical Psychosis, umless you think Helloween is too extreme for you. Let’s see through it all the same..

\r\n What the italians actually do is an effort to approach the style of Lamb of God, something unlikely to happen in anyway possible. Complex, groovy thrash metal with technical injections that fails to impress as it suffers many things, from freshness to result. The riffing is without soul and attitude. Surely, you can find some worth mentioning spots but you have to squeeze them out in order to unbury them. Inallsenses are skilled players, no doubt about that, but it does not help them at all in the writing process. I found myself searching for a quick ending during the first session and the second one wasn’t any better either.

\r\n It’s one of the "driest" efforts I listened to recently. The songs are dehydrated and sterilized, there is no room for the guitars to spread out, to develop further more on the riffs and flourish on new ideas. Seems like a flatlined waveline, ending nowhere. And while the truly interesting stuff is buried beneath tech dirt they make sure anything able to lift your eyebrow stays short in duration. The listener gets nothing left in the end. Props to the amazing drummer though for trying his best to enrich the tunes with clever fills and rhythms. Too bad the guitars get so thick that let no inspiration come forth. Loose the tighness and come back again guys!\r\n
