Iron Man - Black Night

Iron Man - Black Night

What? A review for Iron Man’s “Black Night” in 2010? Yes indeed, since a couple of weeks ago this remastered  release of the album on Shadow Kingdom Records reached me, so I considered a great opportunity to write down some thing about this great band from Maryland.
\r\nSo, “Black Night” has been originally released on 1993 on Hellhound Records, and for those that are not aware of the band, I d like to inform you that Iron Man is a long running Doom Metal band that, never gained any attention outside the Doom metal circle, but for those who are involved to doom metal underground , Iron Man is a highly respectable outfit.
\r\nBack to the album now, that sounds a little to up tempo for classic doom metal album, and this because here we meet some desert rock elements, due too Maryland I suppose. Classic sound that in some specific parts will remind you Wino’s The Obsessed. As for the remastering of the album I have to admit that this version compared to the Hellhound version, sounds more tight and boosted.
\r\nSo this was the first release by Iron Man and I m sure that some people have been looking for the original release, but due too Hellhound records wasn’t too easy to be purchased, so this is your chance guys and gals.
