The Love Crave - Soul Saliva

The Love Crave - Soul Saliva

Our Italian neighbors in their new album are again into the sounds of gothic but with a lot of dark wave, electro elements.
\r\nWhen listening to this one for the first time you feel the power of the songs, while you are  whirling along with the strong guitar sounds and the characteristic voice of Francesca Chiara. Their job consists of well worked songs and sounds equally shared on comprehensive and mental pursuits. Although "Soul Saliva" consists of memorable songs this doesn’t reduce the value of the songs on the contrary, I think it boost the songs even further . Each composition gives the listener a new musical experience that comes from the very good performance of the band and the unique voice of Francesca Chiara. Her voice is beyond the usual vocal style in gothic scene which wants the singer to indulge in Soprano excesses. Although their style reminded me a lot of Lacuna Coil on their latest work, The Love Crave are approaching music with a more gothic and less pop aesthetic. While tracks like "The Other You", "And Scream" , "Tru Blood"  and the awesome cover on Micheal Jackson’s “Thriller” could be easilly played at clubs or radio station.

\r\nPersonally I think that bands like The Love Crave must not be left in obscurity since they don’t seem to lack in anything compared to other well known bands of the genre. For those who like that particular sound should give them a chance and I must admit that I was unaware of their presence but after listening to “Soul Saliva” the stimulating feeling of searching was quite intense.
