Macbeth - Gotteskrieger

Macbeth - Gotteskrieger

\r\nFor a moment I was mistaken with the band’s name as I thought it was about the Goth-sters Macbeth. Well nothing in common except for the name. Any doubts just vanished when the first track started playing.
\r\nMacbeth are delivering a Power Thrash blow with really heavy guitars and they truly kick some ass.
\r\nThe compositions are a fine example of really inspired power thrash metal, the guitar parts as well as the sound are possessed by an intense Nevermore –ish feeling the rhythm section hits you straight between the eyes while the vocals will remind you these of Grave Digger’s Chris Boldendah giving an epic touch to the songs.
\r\nAnother thing that I’d really like to point out is the fact that the German language wasn’t annoying at all ( that’s very rare, trust me) in fact I think it was cool. The compositions, without being something new or never heard before, are having their own character and they sound really powerful and in-your-face. When the guitars and the rhythm section are running amok the adrenaline levels are rising sky high. Macbeth are simply there to give that adrenaline overdose. After all that’s what Metal’s all about. Isn’t it?\r\n
