MINDFLOW - With Bare Hands

\r\nWhen I begun writing this review I realized how hard is to find info about MINDFLOW on the net and that really saddens me; even their page on wikipedia hasn’t been updated for a long time so if you check in you ‘ll find “Destructive Device” (2008) to be referred as their latest album release. So, it makes me wonder why such a band remains in the underground while there’s a brainwashing of updates and promotion in general for other bands, not necessarily published by them or their environment (ie record labels, promoters etc).
\r\nI consider the Brazilians MINDFLOW as one of the most impressive acts for the future of Progressive Metal; They have their very own style and what really stands out is the so warm and strong vocals. The album “With Bare hands” consists of songs coming from their two latest releases, ie “Destructive Device” and “365” (2009-10).  Their songs leave you a sweet taste from DREAM THEATER, FATES WARNING, SYMPHONY X, EVERGREY, BEYOND TWILIGHT, ROYAL HUNT and before you realize it they will have you captivated.
\r\nWhat do MINDFLOW have to introduce? Well, definitely they will give you shivers down your spine. Progressive Metal is not only mathematics and virtuosity, but also deep, intense feelings and MINFLOW are “overqualified” in both. Apart from having the recognition they deserve, I also hope for a new studio album release very soon.
