Nomen Illi Mors - Homo Destructus

Nomen Illi Mors - Homo Destructus

The information about the band is very limited, all coming from a brief CV escorting the Cd. So, it all begun back in 2000, after the first effort, titled “The Garden of Secrets” was released. Back then and now as well, the production was “home made” and Nomen Illi Mors was and still is a one-man band.
\r\nThe sound quality brought me memories from the past, when, bands coming from my neighborhood, some of them pretty well- known names today, were recording their songs on a cassette which they were writing over and over again. The result was to imagine what the instruments sound like as you could barely hear any of them, plus sometimes there was a Judas Priest or Iron Maiden song at the end of the tape which hadn’ t be erased.
\r\nI want to be fair to the bands that send us their albums and they are on a professional level so I won’t rate this one. It doesn’t’ allow someone to get a clue about it apart from a very general idea about the compositions. They are based on “pure” black metal forms and I think that there are good ideas and actually a full line up and a professional production and mixing would make this a decent album.
