Randomwalk - Absolution

Randomwalk - Absolution

\r\nThis is a much anticipated piece of work. After their debut album, it was crystal clear that one could only expect great things from this band in the future. So, this is their second album and it’s exactly what one could have in mind: a superb job!
\r\nSuch album releases definitely send the Hellenic metal scene to a higher level. Randomwalk can be labeled as a “dark metal” band, with strong black and death metal colors and avant garde atmosphere, which overshadows the compositions, making the whole album much more tempting.
\r\nJohn Baptiste gives an imposing performance and much more savage, brutal and raw compared to the debut album; Maya (who has participated in the album “Theogonia” of Rotting Christ) creates a bittersweet sense, while changing with Jean’s vocals in a “scenery” of desperation.
\r\nWaldemar Sorychta (Moonspell, Tiamat, Lacuna Coil Therion etc) and Dennis Koehne (Sodom, Tristania etc) are responsible for the mastering, so you can get an idea about the quality of the sound.
\r\nEleven compositions, each composition a new challenge, each song one more reason to love this band. Randomwalk will carry you away with their music. Maybe the nightmarish soundscapes of their music will wake up awkward feelings of yours or even memories you thought they were long gone. If music is not only entertainment to you but a shelter as well, you will definitely find a good place to hide here. \r\n
