Rote Mare - Sorrows Path

The Australian based Doom metal quartet Rote Mare, after the release of eight demos, decided to release their first “proper” release as an EP entitled “Sorrows Path”.
\r\nThey sound improved in comparison with some early deamos I happened to have already listened to, and their sound is nothing more than traditional doom metal in the vein of Sabbath, Trouble, Saint Vitus and other bands trademarks of the Doom metal sound.
\r\nThe E.P. features two tracks plus an “intro” and musically they drive us into a deep labyrinth of classic down tempo doom metal that many of you will find some similarities with their patriots doom metal act, The Wizar’d.
\r\nAccording to the band their first Full length entitled “The Serpents of The Church” will follow up soon, sometime in 2010.
