Sepultura - Kairos

Kairos…να το διαλύσουν!
\r\nI really wonder if there are any Sepultura fans left out there. By the word “fans” I don’t mean people who loved the band back in the glorious days, I mean if there is anyone who still follows Sepultura after the “breaking up”. From 1998 Sepultura absent the main man Max Cavalera are persistently releasing mediocre albums of no importance trying to keep their name up to date. The fact is releasing albums just for the sake of release leads nowhere when inspiration is gone.
\r\nTheir new album “kairos” is not the exception to the rule. Except from a couple of songs like the self titled and “Mask” the album sounds totally boring, monotonous and indifferent. Music wise it makes no difference from the band’s previews releases. The album kicks in with “Through The Never”….oops, sorry I meant “Spectrum” (It’s Sepultura, right?...) and continues without purpose tormenting our ears until the cover on Ministry’s “Just One Fix” comes to slightly set things right. As for the rest of the songs, the production etc. I prefer not to comment in. I think that Sepultura fans (or what’s left of them) and all those who want a compilation of other bands’ riffs played by Sepultura, will surely enjoy this one. Another “Queensryche” case. Give me a break!
