The Shadow Theory - Behind The Black Veil

The Shadow Theory - Behind The Black Veil

\r\nDefinitely, the reunion of Psychotic Waltz is a dream coming true for many progsters worldwide; for most of us, this band belongs to the “Pantheon” and the elite of this music genre, so there was a burning desire in common for this come-back throughout the years.
\r\nNo doubt, Devon Graves is a great persona and a very creative spirit. So, he continued doing incredible music with Dead Soul Tribe and four years ago, he decided to gather some of the best musicians he met with in the past, and form the band Shadow Theory.
\r\nDevon, who is such an enigmatic and brilliant artist, full of passion and deeply expressive, transfers us in an odd world where shadows rule. His crystal and imposing voice describes the endless nightmares that a person sees and lead him to confusion at the end, as he is not able to understand what’s dream and what reality is anymore. He becomes dramatic, he spleens, he is absolutely expressive, and so theatrical, as if he sees the nightmares himself. The atmosphere of the album, the stimulating psychedelia, the emotions and the highs and lows everything hooks in you more and more every time you listen to the album. As the aura of Jethro Tull touches the songs in a mesmerizing way, Devon’s exquisiteness perfectly matches with all these stunning compositions; the result is almost unreal.
\r\nI was expecting a very good album from Shadow Theory, as I think that Devon is a great artist in all levels, and all the rest of the musicians of this band are brilliant. This album, though, is beyond being very good; it is beyond any expectation, actually! \r\n
