Sorehead - Infect

Sorehead - Infect

\r\nSorehead play boring metalcore, generic and heard a zillion times. Damn it, things seem bad from the very first riff. You can easily guess they’re a young act. Counting only 4 years of existence, they record and release a debut that does not speak to the core....

\r\n I’ve said it before. In my opinion, your first work should be worth mentioning the least to say. It must be a strong, powerful, not necessarily different(that’s an almost impossible thing nowadays) but surely ritch and promising. I guess these guys are good friends for a start. That explains why they haven’t kicked the vocalist out of the band yet. He does an honest effort but it’s nerveless and so common..and as the hour passes on things don’t get any better. After the first 2 unreasonably long songs(almost 12 and a half minutes)that have absolutely nothing to say you get the good ol’ swedish riffing, typical drumming and the utterly boring breakdowns. This is "Infect" more or less. Melodic thrash/metalcore you could easily live without..

\r\n It’s just on of those cases that have no future. Not even as a "cult" reference after years to come. They should change the vocalist firstly, mature as musicians and when they feel they’re really ready to deliver the goods, we’ll be here waiting. Damn it, there are so many unsigned bands out there that could use this space and effort..\r\n
