Spearhead - Decrowning The Irenarch

\r\nA new cd release from the polish Spearhead who are a typical Death Metal band influenced by their local musical scene and by american bands like Morbid Angel, Deicide, Malevolent Creation etc etc. The sound of the group has its good moments but on the whole is a bit boring. It’s true that the tracks are pretty powerful and have the energy and the rage that all Death Metal bands have, but from that point on Spearhead repeat themeselves so much that we are able to predict what to expect on each track.The sound is good, it’s a "carefull" production and personally I would say it reminded me Hate who are from Poland as well. Nevertheless that’s not as important since the band has to do more work on the compositional part so as to be more unique. Decrowning The Irenarch is a mediocre Death Metal album which after a few minutes of listening bores and has nothing really to offer. If we pay close attention we can say the band has potential as long as they put a little more effort and devotion in it. So we are on hold for their next step.\r\n
