\r\nWhat I\r\nliked about this album first was its straight forward character and attitude.\r\nThen the riffs came and they really kicked some serious ass! Speedblow, having\r\nstarted their engines on March of 2009 really impressed the audience with their\r\ns/t e.p. and a few months later here they are with their new baby simply\r\nentitled “Fields Of Doom”. Heavy Rock/Metal that flirts with Doom through a\r\ndirty ala Motorhead prism. Ultra heavy low tuned guitars, stunning riffs that\r\nreminded me of High On fire, Mastodon, Down and of course Black Sabbath.\r\nTelling this, though I never meant that they are copiers. They have their own\r\npersonal style, their own seal that they use to blow some speakers (and\r\nespecially with the wild solos in the album). The production is great (done by\r\nthe band’s guitarist John T. at Moth Studio) and it gives more engine power to\r\nthe album that is all soaked with darkness and heaviness. All this dressed up\r\nwith a great cover done by Vance Kelly (does he use mud in his colour or am I\r\ncrazy??). My personal favorites in the album are Visions Of Demise and (Food)\r\nFor The Wolves (featuring Mike of another cool band named Lucky Funeral). The\r\nalbum comes in 2 formats: cd and double vinyl and what you ‘ve got to do is\r\njust to grab a copy. These riffs are really worth it!\r\n
