Stratovarius - Polaris

After my Revolution Renaissance review i was waiting this one with a lot of curiosity. I wanted to see the rest of the ‘’strats’’ without their mastermind and main composer of the band. The result is very weird for me. First of all he is not missed. You can hardly understand that he is not in the band anymore. Also, this band seems to be reborn! ‘’Polaris’’ is by far a better album than everything Revolution Renaissance did. I admit i hadn’t see that coming.
\r\nThe album isn’t of course better than 4th Dimention, Episode, Visions even Infinite. It will remind you the Element albums. With the problems the band had that’s more than satisfying. At the same time Stats try to bring back the Visions and Episode feeling in their music. You will find many things that will remind you those ‘’high scored’’ albums.
\r\nAll in all I am forced to leave my shovel down  and I am in the pleasant position to recoment you a very nice album from Stratovarious. Its melodic to death with nice refrains , nice guitars and Timos vocals we love. Personally I am sure now that their next step will be even better.
\r\nIt better to stop here. This band did not reserve the crisis it had. But here they are alive again. Please welcome them.
