\r\nGreek Thrashers - Suicidal Angels - are back with their second full length album and all the fans of the old-school fast Thrash Metal are going to love this album! The band has already released three Demos,two EPs and one full length album via Oldschool Metal Records since 2001 and after many line-up changes and a lot of concerts they managed to win a contract with Nuclear Blast Records after joining the - Rock The Nation - contest, where -Suicidal Angels- were voted by fans among 1200 registered bands!! \r\n \r\nThe new album is called - Sanctify The Darkness - and its a modern trip to the Oldschool Thrash Metal 80’s era.Aggresive Thrash riffs mixed with great Thrash leads , pounding bass attacks followed by fast Thrash drumming and the vocalist of the band , mr.Nick Melissourgos is now delivering a little more clear singing with a lot of speed and anger. All these oldschool elements are perfectly combined with a modern production and a very nice sound and its all thanks to mr. R.D. Liapakis(singer of Mystic Force) that handled the production of the album and did a great job. The cover of the album is in the same evil mood with the band’s past cover artworks that were all done (except the third Demo) by mr.George Prasinis(http://www.myspace.com/grinpiece ), only now the band uses the artist mr. Kristian Wahlin( \r\n-Suicidal Angels- are ready to thrash the world and spread their anger with their second full length work. The whole album drops like an acid rain against religion and humanity and -Suicidal Angels- are for sure a part of the reborn of the Thrash Metal scene that we live these last years.They have been through many line-up changes and a lot of problems but they managed to carry on and after a lot of hard work, their love for Thrash Metal has been rewarded. Their new contract with Nuclear Blast is going to help them a lot to spread their music worldwide and they sure diserve it.
