Tremors - Frozen Shores

Tremors is a band from Germany and they play a special music involving a greater music spectre, from death metal to rock. "Frozen Shores" is their fourth album and the band exist since 1994.

\r\nThis is the first time i listen to the Tremors and i have to say that they did not leave me with a positive opinion or a special feeling if you prefer. Many bands have the intention to mix many metal genres in a progressive way, closer to the limits, resulting in an inappropriate final music despite the heavy loaded music and production or the musical sense the musicians maybe wanted in the first place. In Tremors’ case here, i did not see extreme musical complexities of course but i did not also see why this music labeled as "rock". I faced though a strange situation here..While the album tries to give you a special feeling unsuccessfully, i saw that, in the title-track "Frozen Shores" this feeling makes its appearance without difficulties while the atmosphere of the song is completely fit with the band’s mood. It is a wonderful song and in deep dissapointment i realised that it was only this one. I cannot understand though how can that be..to make a musicaly mediocre and replayed album except one amazing song. If the whole album had the atmosphere and mood of "Frozen Shores" then we would discuss about a great album.
