Ulcerate - The Destroyers of All

\r\nWhat can we really say about these musicians? What can we say about this feeling, about this
\r\nimagination and ideas that these guys have? Ok, so better to start speaking about the record
\r\nthan trying to believe what i heard. For those who do not know them, they are Ulcerate from
\r\nthe beautiful country-island of New Zealand. The band was formed in 2000 and they have
\r\nreleased 3 full lengths until now that their new album "The Destroyers of All" has come to the
\r\npublic.
\r\n
\r\nLet’s start from the basics. These guys are high quality musicians. So whatever they do, it is
\r\nwell played and accurate. Their performance and feeling that they bring through their music is
\r\nunique and top class. About their music, i think this kind can be labelled as avant garde-post
\r\nbrutal death metal. But i suppose that labels lose their meaning in front of these grand
\r\nmasterworks like "The Destroyers of All" and i will explain what i mean.\r\n

\r\nThere is some music outhere that when it comes to the light everyone can clearly understand
\r\nthat is unique. Ulcerate is one of these bands and believe me these bands are so few.\r\n

\r\n

\r\nProduction of the album is just great, it is an integral design. Every sound on guitars, bass and
\r\ndrums is just excellent and clear sounded. Performance is by far one of the most expressional
\r\ni have ever met in the difficult situation of death metal. Mixing the brutal and aggressive  
\r\ndeath metal feeling with the stylish and imaginary avant garde feeling, they bring a result that
\r\nyou do not usually hear, that you don’t find in these days and they do it in their own way, so
\r\ngreat. First song of the album "Burning Skies", will put you directly in the mood,  progressing
\r\nafter that, track by track the inhuman feeling of complexity and dark psychology, ending in
\r\nthe grand finale of this masterpiece. About the lyrics now, Ulcerate speaks about the states of
\r\nhuman condition and they are just complete. Read them and you will see. Here i am now to
\r\nspeak of a grand music. Music that maybe i don’t believe it is made by human. So now we
\r\nhave Ulcerate with high quality feeling, to show the world how this shit must be done. \r\n

\r\nBands like Ulcerate keeps the music alive for ever.
\r\nJust let their big, sick, ethereal imagination enter your soul...it will be a great
\r\nadventure.
