\r\n Τhe modern metal scene has now a new child to be proud of. This fine young act releases their debut cd in the form of a self financed EP and set new standards in the greek extreme sound. Yes, I will have to label music again just so that I can deliver a more clear view of their creation. I have to! So, deathcore is the sport but not exactly the type you have in mind dear mr. "only oldschool". So hold your horses til you drop an ear on this EP.

\r\n Bands like Oceano, Carnifex and Whitechapel, especially the later, are a reference in regards which is good to my ears. You will not find the same ol’ breakdown storming. The guys have done quite a good job= the guitars have remarkable details hidden in the shadows that actually make the difference. Lead parts among the heavier riffing give identity and specific character to "Unmasking The Betrayer". The songs are literally hand picked and are not defined by the strict "deathcore" sound. You might as well call it progressive death metal, in a more open minded perspective but what does matter in the end is the music these fellas have created. Tunes with balls and the right attitude.

\r\n A strong bonus is their vocalist gifted with a deep growl and a powerful voice, easily reproduced on stage. Those of you that have witnessed their shows know what I mean. On the technical side of things the production is tight, sharp, without annoying triggering(see Oceano, Ingested). To those of you in question: the songs are avaiable for free download. UTB have done an amazing job filtering their influences resulting in good music and fresh sounds. Must check!\r\n
