Vitales Exsequiae - A Short Lived Hope

Vitales Exsequiae hailing from the “Doom Metal Paradise on Earth” or mama Italia and of course they play  Doom Metal with some differences a common phenomenon for the Italian doom metal bands.
\r\nFirst of all, this E.P. “A Short Lived Hope” has been released in 2009 but better late than never, also this one is a self financed cd, something that really appeals me, since I really admire those types of releases. So In this release the Italians provide us with 4 tracks (30 minutes) mixing progressive death metal with many doom metal elements and especially the classic italian atmosphere, mysterious, eerie and majestic, just awesome!!! Vitales Exsequiae can be in the same time technical, atmospheric and aggressive, some great riffage in specific parts and acoustic parts well bound together for a great outcome, while the keyboards on the background create an eerie atmosphere. This ep was just what I ve been looking for …if you feel the same way too, you know what to do…
