Votum - Metafiction

\r\nVotum, a band which comes from Poland, used to be quite different music- wise in the beginning. Soon they changed their music style, by following more atmospheric and dark music paths. And the truth is, they did well, taking under consideration that they compose wonderful, mesmerizing songs, with penetrating atmosphere.
\r\n“Metalfiction” is an exceptional album, which combines perfectly the melancholic mood with the heavy sound. The progressive nature of the compositions leads to so many changes during them that hardly anyone will not get excited waiting until they finish. If there’s some cross line between Porcupine Tree and Opeth, oh well Votem have deleted it.
\r\nWithout trying to show off their skills, Votum have created a fantastic piece of work; it sounds like a unit, instead of separate songs, actually. I think that the word “addiction” is the most appropriate to describe the effects of listening to “Metalfiction”.\r\n
