Xerath - II

Xerath came to us from England and they are a new band as they formed in 2007, pointing to a progressive death metal in a more orchestral way. Unfortunately most bands offer lots of laugh cause they try to play some complicated music, with extra instruments and classical music opinions but they lack of fantasy and musical capabilities, resulting to mediocrity and blackening the bands’ course in time.

\r\nXerath, fortunately does not belong to this part of our world. They tried to play and express extreme feelings in a Holywood way and i must say that they did it quite well, avoiding the traps of impotence and lack of fantasy situations. "II" is their second album came out promising some brutality in soundtrack forms. And they do it well. Preety good symphonic parts and qood quality production too, letting you can hear everything clear, despite the heavy loaded musical layers and plethora of instrumental sounds. Quite accurate players also, pushing the result to the top even greater. This album is a great pleasure to deal with and i’ll not say more. Maybe it is not the epitome of progression and maybe will tire the listener because of the heavy load i previewsly said, but on the other side, we have an album of nice music standing proud among the other great works.
