Legendary blues rock guitarist Rory Gallagher was recently voted Ireland's Greatest Music Artist by the listeners of Dublin's national independent radio station Newstalk. Rory topped the list, beating U2, THIN LIZZY, Van Morrison and Christy Moore.
Gallagher is still considered to have performed one of the greatest sets at the historic Reading Festival when it first launched 50 years ago in the summer of 1971.
"Stratego" is the second track from Iron Maiden’s long-awaited, 17th studio album, Senjutsu, out globally on September 3 via BMG. It’s one of two songs on the 10-track, 82 minutes long album written by guitarist Janick Gers and founder member/ bassist Steve Harris.
Recorded back in 2019 again at Guillaume Tell studios in Paris, the track was produced by Kevin ‘Caveman’ Shirley & co-produced by Steve Harris.

Virtuosic extreme metallers, Obscura, will release their sixth studio album, A Valediction, on November 19. The band have released a video for the second single and title track.

The remaining band members of METALIUM - Henning Basse, Tolo Grimalt, Matthias Lange and Michael Ehré - pay tribute to their friend, co-founder and bassist Lars Ratz, who died in spring 2021, with a digital single called "Never Surrender".
The single will be released on August 31, 2021 along with the accompanying video on Massacre Records.
