Οι Σλοβάκοι progressive metallers Renaissense έκαναν το ντεμπούτο τους το 2013 με το "…Like My Pain Never Lived". Η μπάντα επέστρεψε με το νέο της άλμπουμ "Past In Devotion", και οι οπαδοί των πιανάτων μελωδιών, των μελαγχολικών-ποιητικών ακουσμάτων θα βρουν κάποιες πολύ ενδιαφέρουσες στιγμές στο συγκρότημα - παραθέτουμε παρακάτω μερικές από αυτές.

Είχαμε ξαναμιλήσει για τους πολύ καλούς White Magician από το Detroit του Michigan, όταν είχαμε αναφερθεί στο split που είχαν κάνει με τους Prelude to Ruin. Το συγκρότημα μας έχει χαρίσει μερικά εξαίσια κομμάτια σαν τον ύμνο "The Turn: The Magician's Last Act" και το "Antipathy" στις mini κυκλοφορίες που έχει, αλλά ήρθε η ώρα για το πρώτο full-length αλμπουμ τους.
Οι Revoltons από την Ιταλία είναι ένα πολύ συμπαθητικό κλασικό power metal συγκρότημα (της σχολής των Helloween) με διάφορες progressive πινελιές και κυκλοφόρησαν φέτος το εξαιρετικό "Underwater Bells Pt. 2: October 9th 1963 Act. 1" που είναι το τέταρτο άλμπουμ τους. Η μπάντα μόλις κυκλοφόρησε ένα καινούργιο βίντεο για το κομμάτι "The Stars Of The Night Before".

To "Soldier of Fortune" ήταν το δέκατο άλμπουμ των φοβερών Loudness, και κυκλοφόρησε το 1989, φέρνοντας στη μπάντα τον εξαιρετικό Michael Vescera στα φωνητικά, στη θέση του θρυλικού Minoru Niihara. Αυτή η αλλαγή δεν "έκατσε" ποτέ καλά στους φανατικούς οπαδούς της μπάντας, αλλά ο δίσκος είναι πια ένα αιώνιο διαμάντι κλασικού 80s heavy metal και δεν έχει τίποτα να ζηλέψει από το "Thunder in the East".
