KINGDOM OF TYRANTS FEAT. MELIAH RAGE, STEEL ASSASSIN MEMBERS SIGN TO METAL ON METAL RECORDS

Metal On Metal Records have announced the signing of a new US power/heavy metal band from Boston, MA, Kingdom Of Tyrants featuring members of Meliah Rage and Steel Assassin.

The band's debut album Architects Of Power is scheduled for the release this November.

Guitar legend Yngwie Malmsteen is featured in a new Guitar World Q&A session.
"I was about eight. I had an electric guitar with a little amp, and although it wasn’t a good one, it made a lot of noise. It was at my school in the cafeteria, which had a sort of a stage. I had asked one of my school friends to play drums, but he said he didn’t know how to, so I showed him how – so we could play the gig, which we did.

ROYAL HUNT ARE MIXING THEIR NEW ALBUM - "SO FAR IT SOUNDS QUITE A BIT EDGIER THAN ITS PREDECESSOR"

Royal Hunt will release their new studio album, Dystopia - Part II, on October 26 via King Records (Japan/SE Asia) and on October 28 via NorthPoint Productions (EU/N & S America).

An update from André Andersen states: "Hey all. Good news from the NorthPoint dungeon: Dystopia - Part II is at the mixing stage. So far it sounds quite a bit edgier than its predecessor, but fear not - it's still very much Royal Hunt.

On August 4th, former Accept frontman Udo Dirkschneider hit the stage at Wacken Open Air 2022 for a full set of Accept classics.

Udo Dirkschneider released his new album, My Way, on April 22nd via Atomic Fire Records. According to the label,  Dirkschneider made the sensational jump to #4 in the official German album charts.

CHICAGO’S WITCHSLAYER RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM OF ‘80S PENNED TRACKS

Chicago’s Witchslayer has finally released their self-titled album. Following the success of Witchslayer’s five-song demo in the early 1980’s, Metal Blade Records included the song “I Don’t Want To Die” on the iconic Metal Massacre 4 compilation album.

Unfortunately, the group disbanded before a new full length album could be recorded.

Frontiers Music Srl recently announced the upcoming release of new Danish hard rock band Taboo's self-titled debut album, on September 9.

Taboo features vocalist Christoffer Stjerne, who also fronts the band H.E.R.O., and guitarist Ken Hammer, who rock fans around the world will recognize as a founding member of the beloved hard rock institution Pretty Maids.

THEM TO RELEASE FEAR CITY ALBUM IN OCTOBER

By way of explanation: New York City was often referred to as ‘Fear City’ in the early 1980s. At that time, illegal prostitution, protection rackets and drug trafficking thrived in the city which was notorious for its high crime and violence rates.

For international power metal band Them, this made the perfect setting for the continuation of their trilogy surrounding main protagonist KK Fossor.

TANKARD RELEASE "EX-FLUENCER" SINGLE AND MUSIC VIDEO

Tankard present their "Ex-Fluencer" video, the second single from their forthcoming new full-length, Pavlov’s Dawgs, set for release on September 30 via their new label home, Reaper Entertainment. The video was recorded at this year's Rockharz Festival, where the song made its live debut.

Comments vocalist Andreas "Gerre" Geremia, "The content of the song is about the dark side of social media madness, in which the protagonist visibly loses herself and drifts into a completely surreal world, but fortunately finds her way out again in the end.
