Chris Caffery - House Of Insanity

Chris Caffery - House Of Insanity

\r\nBeing in a band like SAVATAGE can actually open more doors on one hand, on the other hand, though, people may expect a lot from you music –wise. When you have such a past and you have become widely known by playing in one of the most important metal bands, there are no many excuses when a result is disappointing.
\r\nI listened to the cd many times because I didn’t want to write my opinion based only on what I was expecting. Well, even though there’s a clear intention to approach his SAVATAGE-past, sadly the compositions are a mediocre. The only song that I really liked was “Solitaire” where there’s a guest appearance from Stevens as well. As for the rest of the songs, they are just boring. Plus, the mixing doesn’t remind at all that we are in the year 2009 and that, when it comes to a name such as Chris’, is just unacceptable. The very famous “Get up, Stand Up” is the last song of “House of Insanity” and it’s a choice probably based on the fact that it’s summer time and reggae is good company during this period. Well, I expect much more from Chris. \r\n
