Desert Sin - The Edge Of Horizon

Desert Sin - The Edge Of Horizon

\r\nThis is a band from Austria. I don’t know any other bands from there but here is my beginning. Desert Sin plays power metal. Their sound is crystal clear with a loud production and that is a plus to this cd. They somehow manage to underline their uniqueness in the metal universe by combining elements from both European and American power metal. Let’s say they are balancing between Destiny’s End and the European Teutonic Heavy power metal. It took me about three songs to like the voice of Sandro Holzer but it the end I can say that he’s alright. I liked bass lines on this cd too. Bass and Drums offer a very solid sound. However I think the guitar lines fails to color the songs.  I don’t know if it’s a production matter, a melody matter or both. Probably both, but truth is that the sound is a little flat. I got tired in the second listening of the album. All in all very predictive melodies spoil the final result. I honestly don’t think that you need to buy this. Although it’s not a bad album it isn’t anything that you need to die if you miss.\r\n
