DRUNARD - Like Sin Explode

Drunkard are counting a decade, since they were "born" in 1999. Their first effort, under the title of "alcoholic thrash attack", which was a 5-song demo, in
\r\n2000, gained the attention of Deathstrike records, from Germany, which decided to release it under its name. The result was pretty impressive as it resulted
\r\nin a sell out of every copy within 2 weeks! Their next release was a full length one, under the title "Hellish Metal Dominate", consisting of 10 tracks,
\r\ngetting great comments and making the band a respectful name among Thrash community. So we are in 2009’s "Like Sin Explode" recorded at HERTZ Studios in Poland, with Wieslawski Bros (responsible for bands like Vader and Decapitate) handling the production. Getting the cd in my hands and staring at the name, I thought "well Tankard be my guide", but I was so wrong. After the first seconds of spinning, I was left astonished, listening to a great and tight band, with awesome riffing and playing abilities. Extreme music at the prototypes of Slayer, Sepultura and other (mainly) thrash bands, which hits you at the head like a hammer and leaves you speechless from the beginning to the end! Tracks full of aggression, a like-stone heavy production and solid performing by the musicians. I admit that I not the most fanatic fan of this style of music, but this guys have something to say here. Songs like the opening track, "King Of Death" which prepares you for the mayhem which follows, "Serpent Terror XXX" with the guitar riffs changing and striking you continuously, "My Nomad Wings" (my personal favourite) with its Eastern melodies and the furious "Triggering The Apocalypse",are some examples of "headbang-leading" music. To conclude, I am not sure if Drunkard are under a label contract at the moment, but I am sure that they will not have any problem in finding one,in order to get this cd out and spread their music to the public. When this time comes, every fan of extreme music must invest on "Like Sin Explode" without second thought.
